Take It Outside: Real Field Test

The core rule of Trailnote: the screen is the shortest part of the walk. Record what actually happened on a real outdoor test. Leave placeholders until the real test is conducted.

SECTION 01 // CARRY CHECKLIST

Outdoor Departure Checklist

Complete these checks before walking out the door. All items can be carried physically.

Print the Trail Card (A4 or Pocket Fold)

Use /trail-card -> Print. Ensure vector route SVG and field jottings lines are visible.

Pre-Save Offline in Browser Store

Open /trail-card to ensure the route is stored locally in device localStorage.

Airplane-Mode Test at Trailhead

Toggle phone to Airplane Mode. Verify /trail-card, /walk, and /journal open without signal.

Pack Physical Pencil & Paper

Carry a pencil to write notes directly on the printed Trail Card margins outside.
